Based in Laffak, right next to Haydock and Billinge. Drop your computer off, or I'll come to you.
I work from home in Laffak, on the Haydock side of St Helens. Most people drop their computer or laptop off here. It's usually the quickest way to get it fixed, and because I work evenings and weekends you can often call in on the way home.
If getting it to me is awkward (an all-in-one, a tower buried under a desk, or you just don't drive) I'll come to you instead. Pick your area on the map or scroll down.
The town centre is under a mile and a half from me, and Eccleston, Sutton, Thatto Heath and Clock Face are all short hops. Dropping off is easy to fit in after work. If you're nearby and the machine is a pain to unplug, a callout is quick for me too.
Haydock starts well under a mile from me, and parts of it back straight onto Laffak. For most people here, dropping a laptop or tower off on the way past is quicker than waiting in for a callout. I'll still come out if that suits you better.
Billinge is just over the hill from Laffak, so it's one of the shortest trips I make. Drop your laptop or PC off, or I'll call round, whichever's easier.
Garswood sits between Billinge and Ashton, a couple of miles from me. A short run if you're dropping a laptop off, or I'll pop round.
Ashton is in Wigan borough, but it's closer to Laffak than it is to Wigan town centre. If you're searching for a computer repair in Wigan from Ashton, you've probably got a shorter drive coming this way.
Rainford is out on the north-west side, about two and a half miles from me. Drop-off in Laffak or a callout to you, whichever works. If it's an all-in-one or a big tower that's a nuisance to move, I'd usually come out.
Newton and Earlestown are about two and a half miles from me. With two stations and trains to Manchester and Liverpool in under twenty minutes, plenty of people here commute or work from home part of the week. That usually means a work laptop that has to behave and Wi-Fi that has to reach a home office.
If you can't be without the laptop during the day, tell me when you get in touch. Dropping it off in the evening and collecting it the next evening often works. For Wi-Fi and network problems I'd normally come to you, since the fix depends on the house.
Orrell and Up Holland are north of Billinge, two and a half to four miles from me. Laptops are easiest dropped off. A desk full of cables I'd rather sort out at yours.
Burtonwood is south-east of me, between Newton and Warrington, and about three miles away. Drop the computer off or I'll come out, whichever's easier.
Prescot is over the border in Knowsley, about three and a half miles away. Same as Rainhill: dropping off and picking up is usually the quickest route, and I'll come to you if moving the machine is a problem. Knowsley Village, a bit further on, works the same way.
Rainhill is about four miles south of me. Most people from Rainhill drop off and collect, because it's a quick run and plenty of jobs are done the same day or the next. Home visits are there if you need one. Cronton, a bit further on, is covered too.
Whiston is just past Prescot, about four miles away. Bring it over to Laffak, or if it's a printer or Wi-Fi problem, I'll come to you.
Skem is about four miles away, up past Rainford. I still cover it. Drop the laptop or PC off and you'll usually be sorted quickest.
Golborne and Lowton are east of Haydock, four or five miles from me, straight along the East Lancs for most of it. Dropping the computer off is usually easiest. For a callout out that way, give me a bit more notice.
Huyton is out past Prescot and Whiston, about five miles from me. Dropping off is the quicker way to get booked in: one trip each way, and you're not waiting in for me. If the computer really can't travel, ask about a home visit.
Whichever town you're in, the work is the same: PC repairs, laptop repairs, screens and batteries, virus and scam clean-ups, data recovery, Macs, gaming PCs and upgrades.
Probably. I don't have a strict postcode cut-off. If it's a sensible drive from St Helens, ask. And if the problem is something I can talk you through over the phone, I'll do that and save us both the trip.
At my home in Laffak, by appointment. I'll send you the address when we book it in. Most drop-offs take a couple of minutes: you tell me what it's doing, I tell you roughly what to expect.
Evenings and weekends, around my day job. My current hours are on the homepage, and any changes for holidays show there too.
Wi-Fi and network problems, printers, and anything that's a struggle to unplug and carry: all-in-ones, big towers, multi-monitor setups. For a laptop or a single PC, dropping it off is usually quicker.
Drop me a WhatsApp or give me a call. Tell me what's going on and where you are, and we'll sort out the easiest way to get it fixed.
